Manuka South® 2018 Limited Reserve cuts no corners. All measures have been taken to ensure every part of this product is made to compliment the exclusivity of the honey inside.
Outer Shipping box:
The shipping box is protected with a Manuka South® anti-tamper seal. It is also wrapped in a matte black sleeve and sealed with black ribbon and the official Manuka South® black wax seal.
Each anti-tamper seal states the specific production number of the
inner box and jar lid and is a marker
of authenticity.
Wooden Inner Box:
Inside the carton, the wooden box is wrapped in layers of custom Manuka South® wrapping paper to ensure protection in its travels.
Each Manuka South® 2018 Limited Reserve box has been carefully hand-crafted right here in New Zealand, from sustainably sourced Roasted Oak, and finished in a natural stain to enhance the texture of the wood grain.
It is finished with a wood oil, then hand polished with a special Manuka beeswax-based polish.
A discerning eye will notice the perfectly matched dovetail finger joints at each corner, and both sides of each box have the Manuka South® logo laser-engraved. Each logo is accompanied by a rose gold plaque; one side showing ‘Since 1988’ – a nod to the company’s long history – and the other showing the production serial number, further ensuring authenticity.
Hex gate:
A hex gate has been custom designed to match the comb found in bee hives, and to compliment the natural essence of this honey. These custom hex gates are plated in a rose gold finish, which further enhance the luxury feel of this premium product.
Jar:
It wouldn’t be right to hide such a premium honey, which is why the recycled glass jar is intentionally kept simple with only the Manuka South® logo, laser-cut from plated rose gold, fixed to the front. The jar is capped with a custom Roasted Oak lid, stained to match the box.
Each lid has the production serial number of the Limited Reserve batch engraved into the plaque which is inset on top. This level of detail is to ensure authenticity is guaranteed for each unit.
Spoon:
The hand-crafted, gold spoon is also finished with a Roasted Oak handle and can be used for tasting without affecting the purity and strength of the Manuka honey.
