As a Diplomatic duty-free supplier, DDFS(NZ) must adhere to specific legal requirements in order to supply of duty-free goods to you.

Our duty-free products are ONLY for purchase by current Diplomats and Ambassadors during their posting to New Zealand.

All customers must be 18 years of age, or older.

To purchase duty free goods -the Diplomatic Privileges Purchasing Letter (MFA606) must be used to complete purchases and for legal documentation to Customs Service.
MFA606 Example Letter:
An MFA606 Diplomatic Purchasing Letter MUST be submitted with each new order placed. This is used in conjunction with NZ Customs Service to record and document both the persons and products Purchased by Diplomats during their posting.
Firstly, an MFA606 Letter must include:

Purchaser’s Name
-
Purchaser’s Signature
-
Purchaser’s Diplomatic Position
-
Purchaser’s Diplomatic Stamp

All items and quantity of the purchase
-
Certifying officer’s Name
-
Certifying officer’s Signature
-
Certifying officer’s Diplomatic Stamp
-
Correctly Dated
All these fields on the MFA606 Letter must be completed in full prior to the release of any duty-free goods to the purchaser. A new MFA606 form must be fully completed with each new order placed. This is given to, and retained by, DDFS(NZ) on the sale of goods. We retain the original letter for our records and presentation to NZ Customs Services.
New clients will also be required to provide valid Diplomatic photographic identification on collection of the duty free goods.
