The Heineken Original Lager 24 x 330ml pack sold in New Zealand actually has an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 5.0%, rather than 4.5%. It is a premium pale pilsner lager proudly brewed under licence locally by DB Breweries at the Waitemata Brewery in Auckland.

Flavor: Smooth with a nicely blended bitterness and a perfectly clean finish.

The Process: Lovingly brewed over a seven-week period using 100% pilsner malts, choice European hops, and Heineken’s signature 'A' yeast.
