Jägermeister is the No 1 selling German spirit in the world and the 7th largest premium spirit worldwide. It is produced from a mysterious blend of 56 fruits, roots and herbs with 35% alcohol. The recipe was developed in 1935 and still remains a closely guarded secret today. It should always be served ice cold, and is best enjoyed as a shot, mixed with an energy drink or mixed with ginger beer and fresh lime as a long drink.
