TASTING NOTE:

This attractive Reserve Merlot from the Gimblett Gravels district in Hawke's Bay shows dark plum, cassis, cedar and game characters with nuances of thyme and clove notes. Following the winery’s classic tradition, this fruit is barrel-aged in French oak to create a red wine that is both structured and incredibly velvety, showing off the best of New Zealand Merlot.
